MPAC Data Use under The Assessment Act, and Other Acts
Any specific reference in the Assessment Act to the use of MPAC's data would constitute a permissible use. Other permissible uses generally include:
- Creating development charge by-laws under the Development Charges Act; and
- Collecting debt tied to a property tax bill (but not the collection of Provincial Offences Act fines unless added to a tax bill).
