MPAC Data Used for Consultations

MPAC Data Used for Consultations

Under the Municipal License Agreement municipalities can use MPAC's data for consultation purposes that include seeking input from property owners as part of a planning activity.  However, the use of MPAC data for a consultation process that occurs after a planning activity has been implemented is not permitted.

Although it would not be considered an internal planning activity, MPAC information may also be used in the implementation of a planning decision where an Act specifically permits or requires a municipality to use MPAC's information.
