Viewing SCIFs, CPIFs, and MPIFs in My Work
Adding the parcelization functionality into My Work allows municipalities to view the status of their severances and consolidations, eliminating the need to send enquiries regarding outstanding severance/consolidation information forms (SCIF/CPIF/MPIF). It also allows the municipalities to go back and search for old SCIF's if they need to review or if they missed receiving the SCIF.
1. Log onto Municipal Connect / My Work and proceed to the Search screen, where you can search by all fields.
2. When selecting PCL from the ‘Type’ drop down, this will allow you to expand your search to include:
LRO
Plan Type
Instrument Type
Registration Numbers
Registration Date From - To
Survey Number
3. When selecting PCL from the ‘Type’ drop down and hit Search, this will bring you the list of all parcelizations in your Work Object section. You can click on the View link under Actions to open the details section.
4. When viewing a PCL – Parcelization, this form has four sections:
Section 1 - Property Summary
This section will display the following data for the Roll Number submitted:
Property Code and Description
Roll Number
Region
Municipality
Legal Description
Type
Zoning
Lot Size
Status
Municipal Address
Section 2 - Data
This read-only section will display the following data, if available, for the parcelization:
LRO
Instrument Type
Received Date
Plan Type
Registration Number
Registration Date
Survey Number
Section 3 – Response
This read-only section will display the automatically generated response email. The user will be able to view the address to which the email was initially sent, the subject, body and attachments to the email.
Section 4 – Attachments
This section will display the SCIF/CPIF/MPIF document. The user will be able to open reprint the SCIF/CPIF/MPIF from this section.
The Subway line will display as either Received, In Progress or Completed.
- Work objects that are open will be displayed as Received.
- Work objects that are in progress, process control. approval or notification will be displayed as In Progress.
- Work objects that are closed status will appear as Completed.

Completed SCIFs on My Work
The status of Completed means that the completed SCIF has been sent by email to the municipal contact we have on file. A copy is also available under the response documents. Simply open or view the PCL work object to access the SCIF.

Historical SCIFs on My Work
The transition of SCIF’s into My Work commenced in March 2019, therefore anything registered prior to this date will not be available under the Response/Attachment section within My Work.
Receiving SCIFs by E-mail
In addition to posting completed SCIFs in My Work, MPAC continues to send completed SCIFs by e-mail.
