MFIPPA-COMPLIANT NOTIFICATION LIST FOR OPERATIONAL PURPOSES

Description

In the instance where the municipality is required to notify property owners by standard mail, MPAC will provide the following data elements, where available, relating to all identified properties located within the described boundaries, within the municipal jurisdiction:

When properties are Residential Property Type

And,

When Identifier = I: municipal address and municipal postal code

When Identifier = X: Owner name or occupant, complete mailing address, including postal code

When properties are Business Property Type

And,

When Identifier is either I or X: Owner name or occupant, complete mailing address, including postal code. 

The following data can be included at the property level, for validation purposes:

o   Assessment Roll Number

o   Municipal Address

o   Property Code

o   Property Code Description

o   Tax Class RTC/RTQ

o   ID Code (I or X)

Permitted Uses

INTERNAL OPERATIONAL PURPOSES

For internal operational purposes relating to the creation of a property owner mailing list used for the purpose of notifying property owners about (but not limited to) related operational programs, consultations, initiatives and issuance of user fees. 

Format

Password-protected .xlsx format.

Delivery Frequency

As agreed to by the Parties, which shall be no more frequent than annually.
