Using MPAC Data to Provide Notice for Non Land Use Planning or Non Property Assessment Purposes

Using MPAC Data to Provide Notice for Non Land Use Planning or Non Property Assessment Purposes

Under the Municipal License Agreement, it is not permissible to use MPAC data - including property owner names and addresses - for notices that are not related to land use planning or assessment.  However, MPAC information may be used for issuing notices where a statute specifically permits the use of MPAC information.
Additionally, under a separate Product Use Sheet, MPAC can provide a custom notification list that respects Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) legislation.  For more information, please contact your local Account Manager.
