Preliminary List of Electors (PLE)

Preliminary List of Electors (PLE)

Clerks use the Preliminary List of Electors (PLE) to create the voters list, but it is not the voters list.  It is a legislated product generated by DataFix on behalf of MPAC every four years in July/August of a municipal election year.  It includes elector records for all eligible voters in a municipality:
  1. 18 or over on election day;
  2. Canadian citizen; and
  3. A person who owns, rents, or occupies a property.
Clerks verify the list against any information in their care and control.  The PLE can be found in My Products under Enumeration Products - July/August Deliveries in a Regular Election Year (ENU_CM), and Enumeration Products - September Delivery in a Regular Election Year (ENU_SB).
