Description

MPAC will provide the following data elements, where available, relating to all identified properties located within the municipal boundary in relation to O. Reg 506/18 (the "EWRB Regulation") for the current Energy Water Reporting Benchmarking (“EWRB”):

 The Parties acknowledge that the Building Size Indicator has been estimated in consultation with the Ministry of Energy for some building types. As such, Estimated Building Size provided under this MPAC Data Product may vary from building information provided in other MPAC product offerings.

Permitted Uses

INTERNAL OPERATIONAL PURPOSES AND EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION PURPOSES

  1. For use by Customer to provide water consumption information to property owners for their respective properties in the municipality who inquire about their water consumption for the purpose of reporting information in accordance with the EWRB Regulation.
  2. For use by Customer to provide the Ministry of Energy with the municipality's water billing contact information for properties which may have an obligation to report information in accordance with the EWRB Regulation; and
  3. For use by Customer to compile a list of properties that Customer may contact with respect to their reporting obligations pursuant to the EWRB. Customer will not distribute product or reference MPAC in any communications with respect to the EWRB Regulation or the activities contemplated in this MPAC Data Product. Customer will direct all inquiries to the Ministry of Energy.     
  4. For greater clarity, unless expressly permitted by this MPAC Data Product, Customer may not distribute Product to any third parties to the municipality including wholly owned utilities. Such third parties may contact MPAC directly at products@mpac.ca for provision service.

Delivery Frequency

The Product will be delivered once per EWRB reporting period.

Additional Terms

  1. Each Product delivery may only be used for the EWRB reporting period for which it was delivered and for no other EWRB reporting periods.
  2. All other Terms and Conditions are covered in the Data Sharing and Services Agreement including the Data Terms and Conditions of Use.
